BM & KB World War 1

It was the 24th of December 1914 and England and Germany had stopped fighting for Christmas.

I received a note and a block of chocolate on Christmas eve.

My name is Jim Otto and I am the leader of the English army.

England and Germany had stopped fighting for Christmas on Christmas day.

We took photographs and played football. 

We had a lot of fun and I ended up giving otter some of my chocolate bar to remember the special day stopped shooting each other.

It's after Christmas and we have decided to start shooting again. 

Lots of people had passed away.

That’s the shortest story of Christmas day.

Pigeon Impossible

On Wednesday I and Room 2 Had Miss Stewart in the class room and we wrote a News Report about Pigeon Impossible it was kind of easy for me.

Breaking NEWS!

Dec.18 1981. 4:18 AM 

A very horrifying incident almost explodes Washington DC town square and Moscow Russia at 4 AM this morning.

Mr Walter Becket, a vicious Pigeon and a Bagel are behind this.

Mr Walters Bagel started this all.

The Pigeon stays inside the briefcase and is shooting at everybody and everything!

 A rocket flies up in the sky to get to its destination Moscow Russia.

Mr Becket flew with a briefcase as the pigeon comes to receive its bagel.

The bagel falls onto the ground as Mr Becket explodes the rocket.

He Falls onto the ground and half of the rocket seems to fall from the sky and onto the pigeon.

Sad ending OK bye.

My Mandala Art

This week Room 2 and I were working on our calendar art, we did mandala's using a protractor and a compass.
What I found difficult was making finding colors that go with each other.
The Fun part about the mandala was making the circles with the compass and coloring the background.
Maybe next time I could try making the circles bigger.

Why do I think we should keep cats inside at night?

I think you should keep your cats inside at night because it could rain whilst you're asleep and they could get sick also if you don't have fence in your backyard they could run out onto the road and get ran over.That's why I think you should keep cats inside.What do you think?

My Poetry.

Last week Room 2 and I had to find Nouns

Adjectives, Verbs and Adverbs in a photograph

I found it hard to get verbs for the nouns but I

found writing the poem really easy.

We were learning about using Adjectives, Verbs and adverbs in our writing.

 Poem:
The Glistening Blue water slowly flows as bikers rapidly pass by.

Boats floating majestically with the wonderful view of the Sky Tower at the back of the ocean.

The beautiful green grass swayed gently in the cool breeze.

The native pohutukawa trees calmly stand underneath the cloudless sky.

Houses sharply sheltering people whilst they sleep through the calming night.

My Holiday

Going to the movies.

We finally arrived at Odeon Theatre after several minutes of walking my big feet were squashed against my shoes as I limped closer to the line.

We excitedly jumped to a line and patiently wait in the long line.

My sister and My cousin were talking whilst I was playing games on my phone. We were going to see The Lion king. 

“Can we get some food?” Krisharn (my sister) asked.

“Sure” I said as we moved to the smoky grey counter.

I paid the man sitting quietly behind the counter in exchange for tickets and the cinema number.

Krisharn and Taylor ran to the line to get some popcorn and junk food.

I gave them the ticket and told them to meet me in cinema 2.

I had trouble looking for it because I didn’t go to the movies often but I found it eventually.

It was very dark in there I could remember going to the movies with my pre - school classroom.

I looked around for somewhere to sit but there weren't many options besides the front seats so I just took the front seats.

We had about 1 minute until the movie started.

Half a minute later Krisharn and Taylor arrived to the seats with their arms filled with junk food and popcorn.

The movie was starting I was very excited about it.

And hour and a half later the movie had finished Taylor thought it was kinda weird.

Krisharn felt sick from eating too much Junk food and popcorn she didn’t pay much attention to the movie.

I was happy and my stomach was twirling for some reason but I thought it was a very cool movie.

My Jandal Art.

In Term 2 my Class and I Learnt how to make jandal art.

this is how we made our jandal art:

first we planned our jandal art on a piece of paper.

Then we painted our plan onto the wooden jandal and went over it with sharpie.

After that Mrs Gomm Made straps from a tyre.

We used hot glue to stick the straps on the jandal

My jandal art doesn't represent me but it was meant to represent me.

My name is kaali. I go to awapuni school.My favorite colours are Rose gold and yellow. I’m maori from both my mum and dad i’m from New Zealand, Gisborne. The thing I like about being maori is that i can speak to my parents in maori. I have 3 sisters, 10 step sisters and a step brother. I have 31 cousins, 6 aunties and 8 uncles.


 I like to write fiction books and I like to write poems. 
I like Drawing. My goal is to make more friends.
My Challenge Is to not be scared of fighting in Taekwondo.
I like netball and basketball I’m bad at the sports but i like playing them. 

 My best friends are Alaynah,Amity,Harata,sharelle and Leilani.  I like to play outside with my friends. I’m shy when it comes to meeting new people.My Favorite subject in school is Maths and Reading.I do not have an inspiration. I am 10 years old I'm turning eleven on the 6 of october. I like the outdoors.

My Ocean Poem

My Watermelon Writing

Me and the rest of my classroom tried watermelon and we wrote a story about it.
Watermelon

ZIIP! The annoying noise crawls into my ear like it's haunting me.

The satisfaction of the knife moving right through the giant green watermelon.

I get a peep of the pink insides of the watermelon as the classroom stands up and forms a big line.

The hard and mushy feeling gives me the shivers as I bite into the juicy fruit tasting like a watery strawberry.
